Why Poured Concrete Foundations ?

Poured concrete walls provide builders and owners with stronger, drier, better basements. They offer performance that block walls simply can’t match, at a competitive price.

Strength:
Poured walls have a compressive and flexural strength several times that of block and far beyond the required safety factor.

Water Resistance:
The increased strength, density, and joint-free construction of poured walls dramatically reduce basement water problems. A water-tight basement means less call backs for the builder or developer… less warranty problems.

Fire Resistance:
Solid wall construction affords at least twice as much protection against fire as hollow core concrete block.

Design Flexibility:
Poured wall techniques are adaptable to most home designs and offer the choice of either brick or smooth finishes.

Maintenance Ease:
Poured wall construction is virtually maintenance free

WHY MODULAR?

The Problem:
The construction industry is changing rapidly. Availability of skilled labor is in short supply. Most homebuyers want to have peace of mind that their home is well built and will last. Some are concerned with the lack of adequate building codes or standards in their area.

The Solution:
Modular homes are an excellent solution to the problems facing the construction industry. Modular homes have been around for decades. Due to ever-increasing material costs and a tight labor market, modular homes are now coming into their own. They are built similarly to conventional homes. However, they are constructed in a controlled environment to the most stringent codes required by the State to which they are shipped. The standards and quality are actually higher than in many site-built custom homes.

Construction Quality:
The homes are constructed in "modules" and then assembled into one complete structure on a permanent foundation (either crawlspace or basement). Specifications and tolerances can be continuously monitored and hundreds of quality checks are made throughout the construction process. The modular home is actually built stronger than a site-built home because it has to endure the rigors of transportation and being lifted and set by a crane. It may contain up to 30% more lumber than a site-built home in order to achieve this structural integrity. Modular homes have proven their strength through hurricanes and high winds. Our modular homes are built to meet or exceed all local, state and federal building codes for our area.

All Modular Homes are not created equal. Just as the quality of site-built homes varies with the builder, modular home quality can vary widely. There are two major elements that comprise the quality of a modular home:

1. The modular home manufacturer
2. Your local builder

Premier Concrete Foundation Systems & Modular Homes is a local, authorized Superior Homes builder for Northeastern Pennsylvania. We invite you to come and visit our model home (Coming Soon). Look at our workmanship and finish quality. Talk to our satisfied customers. We are here to help you achieve your dream home in a timely manner, with a low hassle buying experience.

Modular homes can be completed faster. Compared with conventional construction modular homes are constructed more quickly and are not subject to typical weather delays.

Value:
Modular homes enjoy resale values equivalent to those of site-built homes.
